Another Year
This was a great year for fun projects that involved working on a complete top and interior for a 1959 Impala . The biggest challenge was replacing the dash as the first one I ordered wasn't close to fitting and no way was it going to. The second which came from Al Knoch was much better and had the proper grain. The interior was cut and sewed in our shop and came out beautiful. Right now we are working on finishing up on a 1949 Plymouth wagon which we don't see often as I don't think there's many survivors out there but its mid size and after the owner installed a Fat Man front suspension sits real cool.
Just a few months ago we did a 1966 Impala and 1965 both in the shop at the same time for new tops, pads and glass back windows. the 1966 had a production vin number 1 which means first one off the production line. It still had the original top untouched. When possible its always good for the shop to able to work on an original ,keeps us tuned up so to speak.
This summer was able to get back on marine work and construct new tonneau cover and moorage covers for a few of our customers. In between projects like these there was a lot of convertible top replacement on both foreign and domestics. Also replacing sections in car seats which saves over making a whole new cover.
We sale and install Katzkin Leather Upholstery offering many tyles, color options and contrasting thread. Also we sell Ruff Tuff seat covers to protect your vehicles interior or dress it up . There covers are durable and air bag approved where necessary.
To our customers which many are now friends we thank you for allowing us to service your upholstery needs and for the referrals that keeps us in business.
